FBC Beeville- Next Generation Minister
Basic Function:
To care for the younger generations of the church and partner with the church to make disciples of the next generation.
Organizational Relationship:
Organize and coordinate a balanced approach to student ministry and their parents that includes Bible study, discipleship training, out-reach, recreation, fellowship, mission action and music.
Specific Responsibilities:
Admin
Work with the senior pastor and the family activities committee to provide opportunities for all generations to worship, learn, fellowship, & serve together.
To be able to work as a team member along with staff, leadership and students in First Baptist Church, Beeville, Texas.
Attend all services of FBC, including Sunday School.
Work with existing leadership in the planning, implementation and conducting Sunday and Wednesday night activities.
Youth
Attend youth camps as a sponsor.
Maintain personal contact with students and other prospective students throughout the year.
Work with existing leadership in planning, coordinating, and executing relational and engaging ministry to youth.
Work with existing leadership in any other student activities that are planned such as Bible studies, fellowships, and recreational activities.
Family & Children
Provide encouragement and assistance to parents. Develop and implement a plan for on-going parent training and encouragement.
Develop channels of resources to help parents lead in their home.
Oversee volunteers to coordinate relational, engaging ministries to children.
Guide children’s ministry leaders in selecting or developing a curriculum.
Media
Keep the church up to date in technology.
Direct publicity through media – Facebook, Sign, etc.
Produce video and graphics for internal and external ministry of the church.
Coordinate with other ministry volunteers as needed for sound system, computer, and other needs.
Work with music ministry for Sunday morning media needs.
General
Work with and attend committee meetings as assigned by the pastor.
Participate in and assist in ministry areas as assigned by the pastor.
Comply with all church policies and procedures as stated in the FBC Personnel Policies and Procedures as well as all applicable federal and state laws.
Perform other duties as assigned by the pastor.
Requirements:
Growing spiritually; seeking God’s leadership to daily move in your life.
Cooperative: willing to work within existing channels to carry out events
Responsible: To coordinate family/student activities and prepare for events.
Loving: able to show Christian concern for all students while maintain order and discipline.
Ability to relate and teach on student’s level.
Active Baptist
Requires speaking skills and the ability to speak confidently before groups.
Basic Position Information:
A college degree (or working toward degree with completion plan in place)
Previous experience in youth ministry in some role.
Available transportation.
Quality leadership skills enabling the minister to relate and teach on student’s level and to function effectively with adults in the church.
Basic use of computer skills including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.
Requires commitment to Biblical Christian principles and teachings both professionally and personally.

FBC Rockport - Part-Time Custodian
FBC Rockport is looking for a part-time custodian for facility and grounds maintenance. Qualifications for the position include -
Prior training or equivalent experience as a janitor or custodian.
Possess general maintenance skills of painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.
Sufficiently literate to carry our maintenance operations.
Display adequate physical health and strength to carry our maintenance and custodial activities, such as lifting of heavy weight and movement of heavy equipment or furniture.
